What We Believe
At Anderson Road Baptist Church, our faith is rooted in the truth of God’s Word and the saving power of Jesus Christ. We are a Christ-centered, Bible-believing, Trinitarian church that seeks to love God, love others, and make disciples.
God
We believe in one true and living God, who is holy, sovereign, and eternal. He exists in three persons—God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit—co-equal and co-eternal. This is the foundation of our Trinitarian faith.
Jesus Christ
We believe Jesus Christ is the Son of God, fully God and fully man. He was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, died on the cross as the perfect sacrifice for our sins, and rose again on the third day. He ascended into heaven and will one day return in power and glory.
The Holy Spirit
We believe the Holy Spirit indwells all believers, guiding, teaching, convicting, and empowering them for godly living and service.
The Trinity
The Bible
We believe the Bible is the inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God. It is our final authority for faith and life.
